A rescue after two years of failed setup, turned into a buy and build platform

Two years and a substantial budget had produced a platform that could not carry the acquisition strategy. We stopped the programme, re-architected, and rebuilt it into something that could absorb new brands.

2 yrs

Of failed setup reversed

The challenge

The existing setup had been built incrementally without a target architecture. Each acquisition added integration debt rather than leverage, and central reporting was effectively impossible.

What we did

The first deliverable was an honest assessment of what could be salvaged and what could not. From there, a scalable commerce and learning architecture with a central data layer, so that onboarding an acquired brand became a repeatable process rather than a bespoke project.

The outcome

A platform that supports the buy and build thesis, with central data and BI where there had previously been none.

Start with six weeks.

A discovery gives you a target architecture, a costed and sequenced plan, and a recommendation you can defend to your board. If the answer is that you should not run the programme, you will get that answer too.
